The Board of Attica Holdings S.A. wishes to announce the delivery of 7,395 GRT, ice-class 1A, Ro-Ro ferry m/v Nordia, capable of carrying approximately 90 unaccompanied freight units.
A second Ro-Ro ferry, namely the m/v Marin, 5,972 GRT, ice-class 1A, of a capacity of approximately 70 unaccompanied freight units, will be delivered tomorrow. Both ships will fly the Greek flag as do the other 16 (sixteen) ships of the Group.
The two vessels will commence their service between Rostock, Germany and Uusikaupunki, Finland, tomorrow, supplementing the service between Rostock, Germany and Hanko, Finland, operated already since 2001 by Superfast VII and Superfast VIII.
This investment marks the entry of Attica Group in the Ro-Ro market.
